Based in Lagos, the Sales Account Manager shall win, maintain and expand relationships with customers/end-users and partners. The Sales account manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and margin objectives. The Sales Account Manager represents the entire range of Communication solutions and services offered by the company.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the minimum monthly & quarterly sales, profit & cashflow targets as laid down in the Annual Business Plan are consistently delivered and achieved for the company Communications division.
Personally direct and drive new business and sales.
Develop highly effective relationships with key decision-makers across the market necessary to achieve the Company’s Communications goals & objectives.
Implement the approved annual operating strategies, plans & budgets for the company Communications division.
Update the approved Personal budget Plan and implementing the same on a timely basis.
Personally develop a pipeline and leads for the company Communications portfolio.
Ensure at all times that the appropriate inventories of fully finished goods are supplied on a timely basis to fulfil client/partners contracts.
Ensure that goods are sold and supplied in full conformance with the Company’s Policies & Procedures covering sales, payment & credit terms, invoicing, receipt of payments, issue, delivery, and cash handling processes.
Where appropriate, ensure the business meets fully its obligations to its customers/partners under existing and new Agreements.
Ensure that the Business Reports are accurately prepared and submitted to the Line Manager at agreed times and frequencies.
Ensure that any and all pre-approved credit customers comply fully with the Company’s Credit Control Policy. Approval for extended payment terms (credit) shall only be granted jointly by the GM Communications Division and the Managing Director. Each sales account Manager undertakes the responsibility to ensure trade debtors remain current and do not fall overdue.
Undertake any other projects and tasks as directed from time to time by the Sales and Channels Manager and/or GM.
Perform effectively as a “team player” ineffective verbal & written communications with management colleagues, as well as across other sister companies within the parent company.
Needs to be able to operate with minimal supervision and regularly reports back to the Sales and Channels Manager
To track and clear all Receivables in your name within the specific time agreed in the terms of payment
To write and update the required OEM Sales certification exams.

A degree (preferably in any social sciences) from a respected university
