Job Description

 We are looking for a Principal to join the team to help manage the growing portfolio. Considering we have activities in over 65 countries, this role involves extensive travel throughout the year as we visit key ecosystems to meet with stakeholders and deliver trainings to potential portfolio companies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and train the Associates / Analysts in their sourcing, screening and negotiations.

• Approve / reject proposals for the Growth Program.  

• Mentor startups through the Growth Program.

• Lead follow on investment due diligence, analysis and presentation to the Investment Committee.

• Support portfolio companies post investment and drive exit opportunities.

• Manage the portfolio diversification and fund allocation.

• Support with LP reporting.

 

PROFILE

• 5+ years experience in VC or PE, preferably in Emerging Markets.

• Passion for startups and technology, particularly in emerging markets.

• Knowledge of technology and market trends.

• Highly developed financial and analytical skills.

• Deep investment structuring know-how.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong belief in getting things done - We are nomads traveling around the world so it is important to have drive, ownership and execution. Working remotely with an international team, you have to be comfortable working alone and capable to prioritize and make things happen.
